Testing conducted by Apple in January 2025 using preproduction 15‑inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD, as well as production Intel Core Ultra 7 200V Series-based PC systems with Intel Arc Graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and the latest version of Windows 11 available at the time of testing. Speedometer 3.0 performance benchmark tested with prerelease Safari 18.3 on macOS Sequoia, and both Chrome 132.0.6834.162 and Edge 132.0.2957.140 on Windows 11 Pro, with WPA2 Wi‑Fi network connection. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.
  3. Testing conducted by Apple in January 2025 using preproduction 15‑inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD, as well as production Intel Core Ultra 7 200V Series-based PC systems with Intel Arc Graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and the latest version of Windows 11 available at the time of testing. Adobe Photoshop 2025 26.3.0 tested using the super zoom filter at 2x zoom on a 7.1MB image. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.
  4. Testing conducted by Apple August through October 2024 using preproduction 16‑inch MacBook Pro systems with Apple M4 Pro, 14‑core CPU, 20‑core GPU, 48GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. Wireless web battery life tested by browsing 25 popular websites while connected to Wi‑Fi. Video streaming battery life tested with 1080p content in Safari while connected to Wi‑Fi. All systems tested with display brightness set to 8 clicks from bottom and keyboard backlight off. Battery life varies by use and configuration. See apple.com/batteries for more information.
  5. Testing conducted by Apple in January 2025 using preproduction 15‑inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD, as well as production Intel Core Ultra 7-based PC systems with Intel Arc Graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and the latest version of Windows 11 available at the time of testing. Open source project built on macOS with Xcode 16.2 with Apple Clang 16.0.0; open source project built on Windows with Clang 18.1.8. Tested with equivalent display brightness settings for all units. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.

*Apple Intelligence is available in beta on all Mac models with M1 and later, with Siri and device language set to English (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, or U.S.), as a macOS Sequoia update. Additional features and Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish language support available in early April, with more languages coming over the course of the year, including Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
